🔪✨ Knife Crafting Workshop with SylvanKin ✨🔪 Discover the art of crafting your own custom knife in this hands-on workshop led by SylvanKin at Drift Café in York! Whether you’re an outdoor enthusiast, a craft lover, or someone keen to learn new skills, this workshop will guide you through every step of putting together a beautiful, durable blade. 🛠️ Alongside delightful café treats and a cosy environment, learn about different wood materials, techniques, and finishing methods, and walk away with a custom-made carving knife that you can be proud of. No prior experience is needed—just bring your curiosity and creativity! 🌿 Using our woodworking tool sets and carefully selected wood, we will guide you through the process and skills needed to carve your own unique knife handle, then fit it to a provided blade to take home your completed knife with you. If you have a knife you want to handle during the session, bring it along and we'll guide you through it✨ If you've ever wanted to get into woodworking, or you just want to relax with friendly guidance and something to focus your mind, this is perfect for you. The session will last 7 hours, included in the booking price is not only the knife crafting workshop and tools + materials, you also get to enjoy the mouth-watering food and drink provided by Drift Café🍲🍵 Ages 10+ welcome, all under-16s must be accompanied by an adult 18+yrs old. Carers and accompanying adults go free unless wanting to craft their own handle.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel a booking, please contact us. Cancellations done within two weeks before the experience will not be refunded. All other cancellations will be partially refunded. For rescheduling a booking, please contact us. Rescheduling done within 24 hours of a booking will be charged an administration fee of £20 per person. SylvanKin's very last resort is postponing a session and the decision is never made lightly. However, in the very rare event where SylvanKin must postpone a session, attendees will be notified as soon as possible with a valid reason and provided the opportunity to choose from alternative available dates, of which there will always be multiple available. These will not be refunded, unless you are genuinely unable make any of the available dates, as SylvanKin does not cancel events - the event will still happen even if postponed. Due to the nature of working with the community and regularly outdoors, factors beyond SylvanKin's control may impact our ability to run a session on specific dates leading to postponement, which SylvanKin will notify you of as soon as possible, and will provide you with as many reasonable options to re-schedule as SylvanKin is able to provide.
