As a non-profit organization that believes humans and nature can thrive without restricting society, and that through learning and appreciating traditional handcraft skills we can allow British landscapes and cultures to revive, we are focused on reviving the traditional skills and heritage crafts landscape in Britain
our story so far...
Stemming from a passion for living in the outdoors, SylvanKin emerged as a way of getting back in touch with nature and the traditional crafts.
We believe that despite the skill required to operate machinery, their very nature has pushed us away from what made these crafts fulfilling.
To bring life to our crafts we must live through them, and that is what we bring to you.
Our Vision
Our landscapes are as much a part of us as we are a part of them, providing the materials needed to shape our crafts.
Society started alongside nature, and we want to cultivate that relationship in today's world...

With a wealth of experience in some of the toughest environments on the planet, Simeon has rigorously developed a skillset and confidence in the outdoors that only fuels his desire to push past his limits and help those around him to do the same. With a devilishly quick sense of humour, and years of applied knowledge in the wilderness under his belt, even the darkest nights seem like a ray of sunshine with Simeon at your side.

With a wicked sense of humour, Danny's company and support are never turned down by the SylvanKin team, and his hard-working attitude inspires even our event attendees to volunteer.
