Service Description
Haft Your Own Axe in Our Cosy Workshop by the Campfire! Gather around the glowing warmth of the campfire and spend a day learning to craft your own unique axe handle and haft your own axe. Using provided materials and axe heads, and guided by our skilled workshop team, you’ll carve your creation surrounded by the natural beauty of the season and the glow of the fire. With friends by your side and the crackle of flames in the background, this workshop offers a rare chance to learn new skills in a truly unforgettable setting. By the day’s end, you’ll walk away with your very own hand-crafted axe! Situated in one of York's beautiful parks, you'll be surrounded by fresh air and nature as you hone you craft. For ages 13+, with under 16s needing to be accompanied by an adult (accompanying adults and carers attend for free unless they wish to craft their own axe).

Cancellation Policy
To cancel a booking, please contact us. Cancellations done within two weeks before the experience will not be refunded. All other cancellations will be partially refunded. For rescheduling a booking, please contact us. Rescheduling done within 24 hours of a booking will be charged an administration fee of £20 per person. SylvanKin's very last resort is postponing a session and the decision is never made lightly. However, in the very rare event where SylvanKin must postpone a session, attendees will be notified as soon as possible with a valid reason and provided the opportunity to choose from alternative available dates, of which there will always be multiple available. These will not be refunded, unless you are genuinely unable make any of the available dates, as SylvanKin does not cancel events - the event will still happen even if postponed. Due to the nature of working with the community and regularly outdoors, factors beyond SylvanKin's control may impact our ability to run a session on specific dates leading to postponement, which SylvanKin will notify you of as soon as possible, and will provide you with as many reasonable options to re-schedule as SylvanKin is able to provide.
